The one in the Bronx is also beautiful, but it is enormous, just like the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Central Park. They seem so overwhelming until you've been able to spend a lot of time in them. Whereas the Brooklyn Museum, The Brooklyn Botanical Garden, Prospect Park are more user friendly and accessible. And from where I live, though I live in Manhattan, they are easier to get to by subway than the others.
