The radicals of the 60s liked Street Fighting Man.

In Minnesota before they were famous, they played at Excelsior Amusement Park, long closed down. That is equal to a big bar act.

I'll bet that was something to see!

My late wife wanted to see them in San Antonio in 1964, but her parents wouldn't let her go. The local newspapers had warned parents not to allow their children to see the "scruffy" rock band from England. She later named a pet dog "Scruffy" after the editorial. The concert was poorly attended; the Stones sold out SA's Hemisfair Arena 12 years later.

What can a poor boy do?

Love, love, love The Talking Heads. David Byrne is a creative genius.

Thanks for the music!

I was really into the Heads in the 80s. They were huge in Austin. The remixed extended version of Stop Making Sense -- released a couple of years ago -- is excellent: Five more songs, plus a mix that highlights keyboardist Bernie Worrell's contribution.
