The U.S. Chamber of Commerce: An Innocent Victim of Obamic Rage

Here's a good one: Someone named Peter Wehner at Commentary, mouthpiece of the now-and-forever discredited neocons, is absolutely outraged at President Obama's implication that the U.S. Chamber of Commerce has funneled what amounts to laundered foreign money into U.S. campaigns. Without supporting evidence, mind you.

Well, you can't blame Pete for sitting on a tack. After all, conservatives would never, ever, ever promulgate unfounded rumors about the president. Or screech hysterically inane takes on his policies. They have no idea where this crazy notion that Obama is a Kenyan-born Muslim communist who hates white people and sets up death panels comes from. Probably from liberals who want to discredit conservatives. That's it...

Jeez. I just did not see all this coming, and that makes it all the harder to take. I'll think about the CofC later; right now I am still reeling from some clips I saw today of Christine O'Donnell in the latest debate with Chris Coons. It seems insane that both the President and VP will be heading to Delaware to campaign for Coons, although he is leading. That says a lot....

(Your 2010 reading list is most impressive!)

Oh yes, the U.S. Chamber....

Lets see, they demanded passage of TARP and the Stimulus and now they are campaigning against all those that voted in favor of those two pieces of legislation...

Now of course they want tax cuts and a balanced budget since they already got their money from the government.

The most corrupt, anti-American bunch in American politics today...

My heart goes out to those poor folks at the C of C who toil away for the betterment of all, at their plush digs over on H Street. Only one block from the White House but apparently on the other side of the tracks, so to speak.
I've certainly enjoyed being bombarded with their factless but virulent politcal attack-ads every night, between episodes of Law & Order. How do they keep all the campaigns straight? It looks like they've produced "donuts," many employing a photo of Wicked Witch of the West Nancy Pelosi, with the the names and faces of the offending candidates, dropped in. Sure to sell a lot of hate and confusion, but I guess that's the new currency.

Nice Beatles clip; you can actually hear the music through the screaming.

I see Sharon Angle has a sizeable lead in the polls. Gawd help us all. This chamber flap is interesting to watch -- the deceit, the duplicity, the outright nastiness. Who would guess that the Chamber of Commerce of the US is in bed with overseas corporations and they support taking jobs from US citizens? Quick, somebody pull the curtain open! Expose the "Great and Powerful" chamber!

Lydia: I don't think that anyone saw the mindless hate coming. Why would you? It has gone to illustrate a point, though: The right can always find a way to sink lower. And they can always count on the MSM to report on it as a "phenomena" that is a legitimate test of the way Democrats and liberals "respond." You can also count on the left to miss the point.

TAO, Paula: Yes, it's poor lot they have, toiling away thanklessly to bite the hand that feeds them.

Roy: My late wife saw them a couple of times. She said there were screamers and criers.

Ima: Let's throw in a @!*?*! while we're at it.

TD: Reid has closed the gap. She helps him every time she opens her mouth. Like every Republican politician ever, she calls for spending cuts and then ducks questions about specifics. This is a revolution?
