Carrowholly Evening
I took these pictures from the patio of our house and from a point to the southwest. The house shown is on a small island at the end of a short causeway. We walked five minutes across the causeway the other night just as the tide came in; on the way back, the water was ankle deep in some places. I'm guessing that the house is cut off from the mainland at high tide.

Thanks for these lovely photos. What's the temp, so we can fantasize? sp, n.o.
A most idyllic spot. I am totally envious!! The first shot is glorious. It would make a lovely painting, as well.
Sussah, The temp has been pretty consistently around 60. Monday reached 75, and the locals complained bitterly about the heat.
Thanks, Willow! I like the way that one came out, too. There's not much you can't do with cropping and a little tampering in iPhoto!
Beautiful shots.. At least I know you are enjoying yourselves. Thanks for sharing the pictures.. it almost makes me feel like I am there too.
Lovely!
We've been having one sunny day out of every 8 or so, and on many of the cloudy days it rains. And the temps have been staying in the 60s. All my Irish friends are telling me "Now you know why so many Irish settled here (Newport, RI); the weather's so much like home." But I kinda need more sun than we're getting, at least in the Summer. Oh well.
Some really nice shots-- that does look just about perfect!
I love the face in the second shot-- sugar cookie sweet and made me smile! Thanks!
Keep the pics coming lad, enjoy !
Bew-tee-full!
I am pea-green with envy, sir!
Never been to Ireland, but I kinda like the music...
Good gravy but 75 sounds like a blue norther compared to our 100 degrees+ days of heat.
Great photos! Thanks for sharing.
