Please provide evidence for what actually caused the financial crisis.
The policies that started this financial train wreck actually started under LBJ with his starting GSE's, Carter - Community Reinvestment Act, then Clinton expanded the Community Reinvestment Act, and those policies exploded under Bush.

And short-term memory Americans are set to put some of the people who got us in this mess back in office in November.
As to the first comment:
Why limit yourself to LBJ? Why not go all the way back to George Washington and his decision to allow Hamilton to start a central banking system? Some people believe THAT was the start of the demise of this country.
