I've been all riled up today and these cartoons are good medicine.

That Catholic forum I can't help but visit out of morbid curiosity has posted the following as absolute fact. In regards to healthcare for veterans...

"Nobody made these guys go to war. They had to have known and accepted the risks. Now they whine about bearing the costs of their choice?" If you or a family member is or has served their
country please pass this to them. Please pass this to everyone.
JESUS I TRUST IN YOU

How can they even begin to believe this is true? Even if you don't agree with him, would a president really say something like this? (Forget about W for a second.)

K -- ever read Miles Davis' autobiography ?I was trying to show off a little and read some it to one of my students in the hope that he'd see how simple it is to open a book and read the first paragraph. I have it at work will fwd you the opener. Luckily the kid in question has some maturity and ended up getting a huge kick out of Miles' M-f bombs and etc.

Editilla: Go Saints! I liked their logo when they played in San Antonio: SAints.

Scrump: Breath deeply and slowly. Somehow, I have to think that no soldier anticipated being sent to a unnecessary war to prop up a corrupt regime.

Rasta: I still remember Harry Reasoner interviewing Miles on 60 Minutes. "You have enough money." "For what?"
