Aw man! Ferpres
The Global Brain'puter is trying to speak to us, gradually, forming baby words to express tastes... or revulsion, like the Idea of the Haint Who Shall Remain Nameless running "ferpres"...
Double Yikes.
Nobody toll'me there'd be days like these. Strange days indeed.

Great collection of cartoons, as usual. I just started collecting the extended unemployment benefits Congress and the President passed, and now after seeing that last Auth cartoon I'm waiting for my own personal Tea Party representative to come harangue me. Also loved the Tom the Dancing Bug (read that yesterday on GoComics) and the second Zippy (although I'd add that being cut off at the knees leaves them not only with no heart and no brain, but no guts, either).

And Ed, that "trailer" is absolutely terrifying! Is there any way we can prevent it?

Roy, I bet you breathed a sigh of relief when unemployment was extended. It is really cold out there, which I don't need to tell you.

Dayum! I wonder how they pulled it.
Probably the Beck vibes.
Oh well, perhaps this will make it better?
Harry Shearer and Judith Owen at The Triple Door, Nov 30th?

Here is the correct link for Harry and Ms Judith:

It is late and I have drunk a lot of beer, a whole car lot...even more than a lot after he left Sodom! Stop me.

Well, at least there you have another bloggers recent take on Leslie Jacobs for Mayor.
BTW she is the founder and director of Levees.org, Sandy Rosenthal's, sister in law, yet not a word so far on flood safety.
In all fairness. the subject of the City's relationship to the Corps of Engineers hasn't come up from any of the candidates for Mayor of New Orleans.
This of course makes Editilla an even more impatient panther.

Thanks for the cartoons and wonderful links. Loved the big bird story. She is a talented story-teller.
